How much vacation time do you get at your job? I'm guessing your answer is somewhere between "not enough" and "I couldn't take it anyway". I recently discovered one company with a very different philosophy on allowing their employees to have a life. Motek is a software firm in Beverly Hills, CA that encourages vacations of 5 weeks. They send everybody home at 5pm and lock the door on the weekends. They'll even give you $5,000 to help you pay for vacations of 3 weeks or more.
